Sage Bundles
Each bundle contains 2 White Sage, 2 sticks of Palo Santo, and one Abalone Shell.
Sage smudging is a technique used to rid one’s body and area of negativity. Ancient practices burned this herb to help with memory interference, respiratory problems, and digestive issues.
Palo Santo is a holy wood that is known for its ability to bring positivity and purify the air. Traditionally used as a holistic remedy for respiratory distress caused by colds, the flu, and asthma. It also reduces inflammation, soothes headaches, and treats the uneasiness of anxiety and depression.
Before starting the smudging process: Make sure you are in a well ventilated area. Open your windows to allow the smoke to escape. Keep away from children and pets to prevent injury.
First burn the sage to cleanse the area. Place flame at one end of the Sage Bundle, wait for it to burn, and blow on that end so the Sage can produce smoke. Walk around the area you want to purify with the Abalone Shell to prevent dropping any embers from the Sage. This is your time to pray, meditate, or reflect on any negativity you want to remove from around you. When you are done smudging the area, press the burning end of the Sage into the Abalone Shell and add a bit of water. Allow the Sage to air dry between uses.
Then burn the Palo Santo stick to restore positivity. Light one end of the stick and blow out the fire to allow the wood to smoke. Hold the Abalone Shell under the Palo Santo stick to catch any embers or burnt palo santo bits. Add a bit of water to the stick when finished to stop it from burning. Allow the Palo Santo stick to air dry between uses.
